The Plain Dealer writes a positive editorial on the state of affairs in Cleveland.
Yes, I agree that 2010/2011 will be great years in Cleveland, pushing us towards being the best city we can be. But where have they been over the past decade with the influx of housing Downtown? With the incredible investment happening in University Circle, Detroit Shoreway, Ohio City, and Tremont? With the re-inventing of East Fourth and Euclid Avenue?
Come on. To think that one year creates a 'turning point' is a bit shallow - and I actually wrote a column similar to this about four or five years ago, but maybe I'm just a bit ahead of them.... However, I'm glad they are starting to see the roses that I smell every day.
